OBITUARY: Lt. Colonel Freeman “Bernie” Pearlmutter, age 90, Atlanta, died July 24, 2010. He was a proud husband, father and WWII Veteran who earned two Bronze Stars, a Silver Star, a WWII Victory Medal, a European African Middle Eastern Service Medal, a Purple Heart and an American Service Medal. Survivors include his daughters Elaine Pearlmutter, NY.;, Debora Bullock FourStar, Woodstock, GA.; son-in-law Gary Adler FourStar; brother, Alvin Pearlmutter, MA.; grandchildren: Sarah Bullock, Emily Bullock, Sarah Adler-FourStar, Zeb Adler-FourStar, Zeke Adler-FourStar, Zion Adler-FourStar; stepson, Roger Nichols; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Florence. A graveside service with Full Military Honors will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
