Sandra & Earle | | | Milton & Louisa Edelson | Aug 1 2010 10:59 am | | Ron, Louisa and I are sorry to learn of your Mothers passing. We did not know her, we have both lost our Mothers and know of the sadness that it brings. Keep your head up and be strong. Stay well and stay in touch. Milton & Louisa Edelson | | | David Rosenfield | Jul 24 2010 02:38 pm | | My name is David Rosenfield. I believe that I am related to Shirley through my Dad's mother Ethel who was a sister to Shirley's Mom. I am living here in Roswell and hope to attend the graveside ceremony. | | | Kelly Walden | Jul 24 2010 11:48 am | | Shirley will be missed dearly. She was like one of the family when we visited my grandparents at the Assisted Living Facility. She always made us laugh. She was a wonderful lady and our prayers are with David and her family. It was a real treat to know her and she will always be in our memories. | | | Kathy Sanders | Jul 24 2010 06:13 am | | I was privileged to have know Shirley for about the last 6 years. She always had a sweet smile and kind words. BUT SHE WAS SO FUNNY!!!! I will miss her laughter. I will miss her teaching us Yiddish words and their meanings while at the dinner table. Through God's glorious plan she is now with her beloved Abe.
With every visit from David her face would just beam. One of the beautiful parts of having short term memory is that even if you returned later in the day it was as if you were being seen for the first time again. With David's visit, be it 2 times a day or 3 times a week, Shirley would say "Hi David, how ya doing."
My prayers are with each family memory as you prepare to say goodby to your mother and friend but my faith tells me to rejoice for her.
With sympathy,
Kathy Sanders | |
