Jorge Sigala and family | | | Shel Donner | Mar 7 2010 09:58 am | | We'll miss a very funny man. Kind, courteous, thoughtful and a damn good golfer. Creator of the Browdy 90, the best drive a golfer can hit, plus the draw fade and other shots that made him the Jewish Chi-Chi. See you on the second 18 Jack.

A friend shared this with me when my husband passed away and I want to share it with you.
People say they’re sorry,
And they mean it from the heart,
But to understand your heartache,
They couldn’t even start,
To have a loss like you have had,
Is too much to understand,
We see it and we feel for you,
But it’s only secondhand,
You’re the ones who are suffering,
And we’re the ones who care,
But if there’s anything I can do,
Call me, I’ll be there.
You have my Deepest Sympathy.
Phyllis

He was a wonderful man and I always treasured our friendship. I admired him as a golfer and I thought he was the best, and I admired his determination to learn a new field when he began selling wine and I felt that in a short time he became a real expert in that endeavor. Having spent62 years in that business I was thrilled to see Jack develop into one of the most knowledgeable people in the wine trade and enjoyed many times that we were able to discuss various vineyards and products together.. Iam sorry for your loss and he will be sorely missed, | | | JoAnne Donner | Mar 5 2010 09:59 am | | Helen, It was very sad to hear about Jack. I just want you to know my thoughts are with you. May God allow us all to touch so many and share so much! | | | Karen Matoian | Mar 5 2010 07:56 am | | Jack always told everyone he was my Grandfather. We had a mutual affection for each other that went way beyond business. We taught each other a lot about wine and always had a wonderful time when we were together. I will miss him dearly. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. | | | Keith Cooley | Mar 5 2010 07:32 am | | I was one of Jack's wine customers for he last dozen years. He was very knowledgeable and helpful to me and my family. My children, wife and I often asked him for advice on wine and related travel and he always went out of his way for us. We enjoyed his wine tastings, mostly because he seemed to enjoy them so much. We will miss him.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family.
