| We lost a bright shining light. I remember his smiling heart. He was always good to me and never too busy to say hi, shake your hand, or listen. A true gentleman in every sense of the word. He will be missed by all who came in contact with him. |

| I will miss and remember "Wacco" (as I called him) everytime I enter the Hideaway. I will never forget how much he loved the fried chicken livers! Waxie was a very special person and was loved by all who knew him. My condolences to the family. |

| I am saddened to hear of Waxie's passing. It was such a joy knowing him. I would occassionally run into him on Thursday Nights at his Regular dinner place, The Waffle House. I really loved his smile and his laughter. He will be missed! |

| It was always such a warm feeling to see Waxies smiling face when I walked into the door of the Hideaway. And to be greeted in such a special way by him calling my name and saying hello felt so nice. It was obvious he was a very kind and loving person. He will never be replaced as a special person in my life and my thoughts and prayers are with his family and dearest friends. |

He will be missed by me and bunches of
other loving friends. There were a span
of years that I didn't come in the Hideaway. But when I did come back Waxie
remembered my name right away. That is the kind of person he was. He made you
