I was so sad to hear of Alec's passing. I was out of town, otherwise, I would have been at the funeral to pay my respects to one of the finest men I have ever known. Alec helped my family move to Atlanta and helped them start a business and for that we were always grateful to him. He was kind, honest and loving. May his passing be for a blessing. All my best, Clare Habif

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of your loss. We will always remember him primarily as a "Mensch", but also as a most gentle human being. Because of health and weather reasons, we can't be at the funeral, but we will make a call to you at home. With sincere hope, we wish your void, to be as easiest possible. Our love, The Gottlers

My in laws, Gerald & Dory Profis, will never be able to fully repay the kindness that Alec showed to them during their lifetimes. Alec was the first American who reached out to them and taught them the ropes of being in business in this country. He was an unbelievably decent guy. During our recent family tragedies, Alec and Larry were there for us as always. We will never forget those acts of kindness. Loli and I found out about Alec's death right before we drove my mother in law Dory to the airport for a month long visit to Israel. We decided not to tell her about Alec's passing because she would have been so upset that it might have ruined her trip. Alec was a real Tzaddik. He is a big loss not only to your family, but also to the people who he came into contact with throughout his life. May he rest in peace.

We are so saddened by the news of Alec's passing. Alec was like family to us and one of the finest people we've ever known. We will always remember his kindness and all the help he provided to our family when we came to Atlanta. He will be missed dearly but his blessed memory will bring us comfort. I know my father would be very upset if he was with us today. Please know that you are in our thoughts and in our prayers. We love you all. Loli
