  • OBITUARY:
    The family of Steven Shind is saddened to announce the passing of their brave and deeply loved Partner, Brother, Father, Uncle and Grandfather, who lost his valiant battle with cancer August 12th. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Harriet and Benjamin Shind. Survivors include his partner, Phyllis Keane; children Samuel and Ashley Shind; Phyllis’children, Jessica Bork, Lauren and Ryan Keane; sister and brother-in-law, Helene and Herman Brown and their children Melissa, Koby and Alexie. Steve spent his very successful career as Vice President of Sales with several food companies. As a native of Boston, Steve loved his Red Sox and spent his life as an avid sports fan. He’s a proud graduate from the University of Miami. After retirement, Steve loved his life relaxing on his house boat and spending time with family, which meant the most to him.     Steve and I were friends at McDonalds and have been friends since he moved to the and boat.I talked to Steve last week and in fact he was planning to move back to marietta and I gave him a vet that I used when we had a dog.

    Please know how sorry I am for the loss of Steve!! He was always so kind and funny!! I enjoyed every moment being our him and his wonderful family!!
