Morris, I will never forget all the times that we got together and had great times and talks. I remember you giving Chrissy a plush santa klaus and called him "bad santa" to make me laugh. You were like a brother to me as well. I wish you had talked more with me about what ever was on your mind or your heart. You will be forever missed, but not forgotten. Love you forever, Bev

Dear Martin, Lendy,(and extended families). I was deeply saddened to learn of the loss of your beloved brother and my cousin Morris. There have been decades of many memorable times. May we always remember those good times we had growing up. My heartfelt condolences as you all go through this difficult time of trying to heal from the pain of your loss. We should cherish the time we have remaining and try to get together more often. With love to all, your cousin Morris.

My dear cousin Morris, I will miss you more than you will ever know. I love you so much and I know you are now with your mother, father, Ray, Aunt Doll and my parents in heaven. I pray the rest of the family find peace in their hearts as they go through this difficult time. Hope to see all my cousins soon. Love to all, Ivy

Dear Lendy & Martin and family- I am so deeply saddened by the loss of our beloved Cousin Morris Joe. I spoke with him several months ago and was just thinking about him again this week. I have a ton of cherished memories that cross geography and time. Playing together at 9 years old in Brookhaven, eating (real) BBQ and line dancing in Nashville, going to the World's Fair in NYC. I think of him nearly every time I enter a casino or when someone asks me about the South. He was a rascal and he was one of the warmest, most loving, and loyal human beings ever put on this earth. He knew how to have a good time and he knew how to find the best in people. More than anything else, he cherished his family. I hope you can find some comfort in the memories of the love he had for all of you. There is a great hole in the world today. No one will ever be able to fill his shoes, but we can all remember and pass on the love, intelligence, and insights he shared with us. I send condolences from Francine, Gloria, and me. Our thoughts and hearts are with you all. Your Yankee cousin, Betsy

Martin and Maura, so sorry for your loss of Morris. We see that donations are directed to Atlanta Humane Society and would not expect any place else for Maura's uncle.
