David, I am so sorry about the passing of your dear father. A"H. I remember him well and so does my mother. He cut my dad's hair for years. In his later years I would pass him on Biltmore while going to shul and say hello while he was walking the dog. I have many memories of your parents. May your father's neshoma have an Aliyah in shamayim!

David, I'm really sorry to hear about your dad. I unfortunately found out about his death days after the funeral. What a beautful and true tribute that was written about your dad in the AJT. I only recall the fondest of memories spending time with your family while growing up. Those days on Biltmore Drive made for an invaluable childhood that I would never trade. It takes being an adult to truly understabnd the many sacrifices your parents made in life. I'm just happy I was part of their lives and got to treasure an unbeliveable friendship with their son. Please send my best to the entire family. I want to someday visit the display at the history center. Please let me know how Phyllis and I can get together with you?

Eli was a great human being. I loved him and was honored to know him. He was an example of someone who had been through hell and came to view life as a miracle.

David, Vicki and Rachel - your father was such an incredibly beautiful person. His smile and amazing ability to bring joy to others, despite the brutal hardships and loss he endured, was a genuine gift to all of the lives he touched. I feel truly blessed to have known your Dad. God bless you, Eli. He brought heaven to earth and now heaven is an even more wonderful place. Love, Greg

Dear Vicki - and all the Sotto family: Your dear Dad will always be remembered not only as an iconic Atlanta businessman and Jewish Atlanta hero, but as a kind gracious and humble man who took great care of all who graced his barber chair for decades. I remember his Peachtree St location and going there with my Dad of blessed memory, long before Mr. Sotto's business at The Biltmore. Pictures of Atlanta dignitaries decorated the walls and anyone and everyone could see that this man was somebody extra special in many Atlanta circles. How he survived the Holocaust and accomplished so much with you all, his loving family, is beyond heroic. My deepest condolences. I hope - and know - his amazing life journey and your recalling countless friends he made will be a source of great pride that you feel every single day. Extra special thanks to you, Mr. Sotto, for being so kind and gracious to my own Dad, Raymond Arogeti, of blessed memory, over the many - yet still short - years.

I did not know Mr. Sotto but I read his obituary in today's AJC. What an amazing story of survival!!!! His story was a vivid reminder of the hell of the Holocaust. God bless your family and we should all remember his story.
