  • OBITUARY:
    Paula Silverman Weberman, 73, of West Bloomfield, MI passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2017. Paula was a long time member of the Oakland County Bar Association, as well as a member of the Juvenile Law, Family Law, and Probate Estate Planning Sections of the State Bar of Michigan. In addition, she was a member of the Wayne County Juvenile Trial Lawyer Association and Wayne County Probate Bar Association. Paula worked tirelessly as an advocate for families and children, and formerly served as a board member of the William Booth Legal Aid Clinic through the Salvation Army. Paula was a contributor to the Institute of Continuing Legal Education, having previously co-authored the chapter and provided updates to the Michigan Family Law Series with regard to guardianships and adoptions, with her husband, Referee Seymour Weberman. Paula was the beloved wife of the late Seymour Weberman; dear mother of Brett (Hindy) Silverman, Kirsten (Philip) Mekelburg, Meggin (Allen) Rosner, Alisa (Jonathan Korzen) Weberman and the late Michelle Weberman; dearest sister of Corey (Robert) Glass; loving grandmother of Jonah, Joshua, Jamie, Sarah, Andrew, Elliot, Michael and Max; and devoted companion of Jim Rawlinson.
