  • OBITUARY:
Dr. Todd David Ostrow, 55, devoted father and husband, passed away on Sunday, February 5. He was a dedicated neuroradiologist who had a passion for his family, travel, sports, and musicals. He grew up in Maryland with an identical twin brother. They took advantage of their physical similarities by playing pranks on their teachers. He did his undergraduate work at Cornell and went to medical school at the University of Maryland followed by a residency at Emory. He met his wife Judy in medical school. After practicing in Florida, he relocated his family to Atlanta. He was voted one of Atlanta's Top Doctors for many consecutive years. In addition to being an excellent doctor, he was beloved by his family, friends, and colleagues. He leaves behind his wife Judith, his two sons Alexander and Mitchell, his parents Barbara and Harvey, and his brothers Brian and Michael. His life was remembered February 7, 2017. I just wanted to let you know that I am thinking of your family at this sad time. Our family has happy memories of the time we shared in Silver Spring. I was one of the many that the boys fooled---never knew who I was talking with. Our prayers will be with you at this time. Sincerely, Ann Bright

I'm going to miss our daily philosophical discussions about life, work, and family. He was one of a very select group to see me get a hole in one.

Judy, Alexander, and Mitchell -- Words cannot express how shocked, saddened, and angry I was when I heard this tragic news. Yes, I said angry, because it is not fair to any of us to lose Todd like this. He was one of the most genuine, pleasant, and humble people I knew. I always -- ALWAYS -- had a good time hanging out with him and will cherish the all too infrequent times we all got together. Please know that the entire community is weeping at the loss of a special person. Your friends are here for you... and we mourn with you. Love, Jason Evans
